The project
Journey to the picturesque region of Périgord Noir, where you'll delve into permaculture and agroforestry practices. Your tasks will include preparing gardens for the winter—this involves weeding, protecting the soil, seeding, and planting. You'll also have the chance to get creative with garden layout and design. In the first week, you'll work alongside school children in the gardens and participate in activities offered by the Ecocycle association.
Accommodation & food
You'll stay at the Vieux Logis de Saint Amand, sharing a room with 2 to 3 people. Meals will be prepared and enjoyed collectively. Everyone will have the opportunity to cook, so bring along your favourite recipes!
Location & leisure
Location: Coly - St Amand, situated in the heart of Périgord Noir, is 10 km from the famous Lascaux caves and located between Périgueux and Brive.
Leisure Activities: Explore the region through site visits and nature activities. You'll have the chance to create your own entertainment programme with the animators and other volunteers, focusing on discovering the local area and its unique attractions rather than just consumption-based activities.
