How much do I need to pay for a volunteering experience?

All the information about pricing on this page is for individual volunteering experiences - for information on pricing for group experience, please visit our Group Volunteering page.

Our cost - registration fee: £250
When you sign up to volunteer, you will need to pay a £250 registration fee to Concordia.

This enables us to provide support for you from our dedicated volunteering team and gives you access to our global network of volunteering opportunities.

Our network gives you choices of 1000s of incredible volunteering projects in over 48 countries, which are organised by local hosts with local knowledge and expertise for what their community needs.

This cost also goes towards our support service which we provide throughout your experience, to make sure you have dedicated support at every step of your journey.

Project fee
You will then also need to pay the project fee to the host organisation of the project.

This cost covers essentials like your accommodation, meals and any on-site training that you need.

This cost is set by the host project and can vary depending on how long you want to go for and costs that need to be covered by the project.

However some local hosts subsidise this so that it is free. Each project will have details of the fee on the project listing page.

What's included in the cost?

Each project is organised locally, please check project details when applying.

We include all of this on standard projects:

Can I fundraise to help me pay for my volunteering trip?

Yes absolutely! Fundraising can be a great way to make your trip more affordable while also raising awareness of the project that you will be working on.

You can fundraise in any way you like - so thinking of something personal to you and helping to tell your story about why you are volunteering is a great way to raise funds.
